Key Software cc opened for business on the 1st of May 1988 and focused on hardware and software sales to the farming sector. The first PC sold was a Miad XT 8088 Intel processor with a 360kb floppy, 10Mb hard drive, 640kb Ram, Microsoft Dos 3.21 and an Epson LX 400 dot matrix printer! What a deal for a cool R 9000. The business grew rapidly and was rebranded to Key Computers in 2002. We have evolved into a leading IT Value Added Reseller and we still deal with a number of our original customers from 1988. We are proud to be of service to the Hibiscus Coast.
